Data deletion instructions

Deletion is immediate and does not need a person at SMMist to act. Each route below says exactly what is removed and what is kept.

1From Instagram§

  1. In Instagram, open Settings → Apps and websites (or Website permissions → Apps and websites).
  2. Under Active, select SMMist and choose Remove.
  3. Meta sends us a signed deletion request. We disconnect the account, delete its access tokens, and erase the profile name, picture, granted permissions and stored metadata.
  4. Meta shows you a confirmation code. You can check it at any time.

2From the SMMist dashboard§

In Accounts, choose Disconnect on any account (the API equivalent is DELETE /v1/accounts/{id}). Its tokens and secrets are deleted at once and every post still waiting to go to that account is canceled, with the reason on the record.

3Your whole workspace§

The workspace owner can ask us to delete everything: write to hello@smmist.com from the owner’s address. We confirm by email, keep an export available for 90 days unless you ask us not to, then delete the workspace, its media, posts and audit chain.
